Does this feel familiar?

I offer one-to-one coaching for individuals who are, or suspect they may be, neurodivergent*. This includes students, people in or out of employment, entrepreneurs/solopreneurs, artists etc.

My approach focuses on supporting you to find your strengths, identify your weaknesses and use this knowledge to help you face your challenges confidently and creatively.

I work hard to create an empathic and understanding environment. At the same time, I am prepared to dig deep with you to clarify ways in which you can use your resources to move forward towards goals you have set for yourself and that you find meaningful.

*This means I don't need to see a formal diagnosis.

Sessions are:

Individualised

I don’t use “off-the-shelf” coaching methods and never will. Working with neurodivergent individuals requires sensitivity, empathy and getting to know the individual.

Client Led

I work with you to identify your hopes, dreams and challenges as you perceive them. I will not tell you what your problems are and how to lead your life. Any commitments you make during the process are commitments you make to yourself, for yourself, not to me as a coach.

Resource Oriented

I focus on neurodiversity as a gift. Whilst I take a realistic view of the burdens that come with being neurodiverse, I believe that with the right approach, the benefits can easily outweigh the costs.

“It is more common than you can imagine. You are not alone. And while you will have this the rest of your life, you can dart between the raindrops to get where you want to go, and it will not hold you back.”

Steven Spielberg — Dyslexic film director

Some fun (and hopefully inspiring) facts about neurodiversity:

  • The main cast of Pirates of the Caribbean are all dyslexic — Orlando Bloom, Kiera Knightly and Johnny Depp.

  • So was John Lennon, Charles Schwab, Steve Jobs, Will Smith, Richard Rogers, Norman Foster, Anne Rice, Winston Churchill, Tim Burton, Judy Dench, Albert Einstein, Eddy Izzard and Jamie Oliver.

  • Emma Watson, Justin Timberlake, Solange Knowles, Ryan Gosling, Bill Gates, Jim Carey, and David Blaine have ADHD.

  • Neurodiversity is has been observed in the animal kingdom as well as in humans.

  • 50% of self-made millionaires are neurodivergent, along with 75% of art school students!
